Amber Schwab and Brandon Buss tied the knot on October 17th. Their reception was at Lasure’s Hall in Oshkosh. I knew from the get go, that this was going to be a fantastic night! Early on their planning stages, Amber was so enthusiastic to all of our ideas and really liked the out-of-the-box stuff that would wow guests! I realize that this isn’t for everyone, but she was super excited! It was also evident at her friends wedding, which we also did a month earlier where she said, “our reception is going to rock!” It was TRUE!
There was no shortage of fun at this reception. From song one, right up until the end, their event was fantastic. Guests filled the dance floor for the entire night, even begging for more once we hit the last song. I would like to point out the Grand March custom mix that we put together. Amber couldn’t choose just one song, so we put together a verse from three and mashed them all up together, it was awesome!

We got set for a double header this past weekend. We spent the evening with Samantha Huettl and Dave Dettman at the Swan Club in Depere. We provided music for both the cocktail hour as well as the dinner. The Swan club and it’s staff are nothing short of amazing, as they were always on top of every detail from beginning to end. I highly recommend this facility for a wedding reception!
Guests were asked to share their favorite memory or story of Sam and Dave.
After dinner, we took the kids aside at the reception and did several games with them along with plenty of interaction, which culminated in the human scavenger hunt which really got the guests revved up for the evening. Sam and Dave had a very unique sports themed Grand March in that each couple came in with a sports uniform on to “I wanna Bang The Drum” by Todd Rungren. The bridal party formed a wall and the bride and groom did the Lambeau Leap. Very original and very cool.
We played a ton of requests and their were still over 100 guests left at midnight. What an amazing night! Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day!

On Saturday, we began the day by providing sound reinforcement at Sheila & Matt’s wedding ceremony at the “Osthoff Resort” in Elkhart Lake, WI. It was outside in the gazebo, and a bit chilly, but it was beautiful. It was our first time playing a ceremony at this facility. The grounds were beautiful!

We moved on to the reception, held at the Bull in Sheboygan. We played a wide variety of new and old. We introduced each couple in the bridal party for Bridal Party introductions to a different song, and the night was filled with several requests.
