Sound Sensations always sets up a pre-event consultation before your event. We
can meet with you at your home and go through every last detail, so everyone
is on the same page. We will answer any questions you might have, and go
through the bridal planner, music, special songs, requests, DJ style, etc.
This is the time that you let us know if you want us to do those
"fun" dances like the Cha Cha Slide and Conga Line. Maybe that's not
your style, and that's fine too. Just let us know during the consultation.
It's totally personalized to exactly the way you dreamed it would be. This is
your day, and we will make sure it is unforgettable! In addition, we
have packages that are personalized with custom recordings, Love Stories,
recorded toasts, and more. Everything we do is customized for you...
Will Sound Sensations Entertainment get my
guests dancing?
Our DJ's have more than 20 years in the industry. We will use our experience
and your input in selecting music which we know will generally get your guests
on the dance floor throughout the night. All of our DJ's can also come out to
the dance floor and lead dances like the Electric Slide, we can even help
coordinate "the longest conga line that the world has ever seen!"
It's all up to you, if you prefer less interaction, that's fine too, we cater
to your needs. Upon request, we also bring props for your guests, everything
from blow up guitars, to sombrero's, maracas, hats, and glasses. The best part
is that it is always included, you'll never pay more, but your guests will
enjoy more!
Is Dinner Music included in your Package?
Sound Sensations
Entertainment has three packages that offer dinner music. We
encourage you to have dinner music, as we will act as your master of
ceremonies during the dinner portion of your event. We will be
there to set up about an hour before your guests arrive, and the music will be
playing when they come in. We have everything from light piano, to
jazz, cocktail and soft rock music. You choose.
Are we guaranteed the DJ of our choice on the
day of our event?
When you book our services, if you haven't requested a particular DJ, one will
be assigned to your event. When you choose your DJ, you will ALWAYS get to
meet them before your event at the consultation, unless your event is more
than 2 hours away, where we would then do the consultation over the phone.
How long has Sound Sensations Entertainment
been in business?
Experience brings knowledge to deal with every situation. Be sure your DJ has
experience with your type of event. Sound Sensations Entertainment has been in
the entertainment business for more than 20 years. In addition, we also belong
to the Northeastern
Wisconsin DJ Alliance [NEWDJA], which is a network of DJ's in
Northeast Wisconsin who work with each other to provide the best possible
entertainment in the industry.
May we call your references?
References are a major part of the entertainment business. It is a good idea
to get a few client and business references. Sound Sensations Entertainment is
happy to give you recent names, including post event evaluation forms of our
past customers who have given us permission to use them as reference. We
always send out a post event evaluation after every event to insure that we
are providing the best possible entertainment and services to our clients. We
always encourage you to call our past clients, they paint the "true"
picture of our services.
How early will you be to our site to set up?
An average of sixty minutes should be allowed for set up and sound check.
There is NEVER an additional charge for this. Sound Sensations Entertainment
usually arrives one hour before the guests arrive.
Do you ever take any breaks?
Sound Sensations Entertainment never takes a break. From the moment your
guests arrive till the time they leave, the music will always be playing
[unless we are making announcements, or toasts are taking place].
What kind of equipment do you use?
Sound Sensations Entertainment always uses "State-of-the-Art" DJ
professional grade equipment. We have 5 CD players both Gemini and American
DJ, Peavey and Mackie Amplifiers, Peavey and Mackie speakers, plus EV and
Gemini Microphones. Our lighting equipment hangs on an 8 foot high by 10 foot
wide truss. Some systems use tripods. All lights are computerized synchronized
to the beat of the music. We have three mobile sound and lighting systems.
Do you carry Liability and Equipment
Insurance?
Sound Sensations Entertainment always carries $1,000,000 in liability and
every piece of equipment is insured. In addition, we also carry back up
equipment. If anything should ever break or not function properly, we always
carry a spare. Its never happened, but we always want to be safe!
How many shows do you book on a Saturday
night?
We believe that providing the best possible entertainment and customer service
is key to every successful event. We have a total of 7 entertainers/DJ's, and
can handle a maximum of 4 shows on any given Saturday evening. We always have
one entertainer on call for emergencies and back up situations.
