A Butte Des Morts Country Club Reception for Taylor + Michael!

Taylor & Michael tied the knot on November 3rd. The ceremony was held at The Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London, and Ed Eaton with Sound Sensations Entertainment provided the MC/DJ Entertainment at the reception which was held at The Butte Des Morts Country Club in Appleton.

Guests were invited to the cocktail hour in the Foyer area on the 2nd level where they enjoyed an eclectic mix of Country, Disney, John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, a little bit of Michael Buble and some of their favorite K-LOVE Christian Contemporary favorites.

Jennifer Seibel & her entire staff at The Butte Des Morts Country Club are always fantastic to work with, and were a pleasure at Taylor & Michael’s celebration.

The room looked beautiful with floral arrangements by Lisa Ziemer! After pics were taken by Alysa Meinke from Alysa Rene Photography , and the videographer Ryan Gueller from Guellers Photo captured footage, the ballroom opened up and I invited guests to their seats.

I introduced the wedding party to the “Bulls Theme” mixed into “You Make My Dreams Come True” by Hall & Oates as soon as Taylor & Michael entered the room. You could feel the love, excitement and energy in the room!

As soon as Taylor & Michael cut the delicious cake, created by Manderfields Bakery , Taylor & Michael went right into their first dance before dinner to “Die A Happy Man” by Thomas Rhett.

Guests were treated to several toasts throughout dinner highlighting Taylor + Michael along with a scrolling slide show that they could watch at anytime on our video screen.

Following dinner, guests and the bridal party were treated to a fun scavenger hunt with the bridal party which kept everyone engaged, smiling and laughing!

Taylor danced with her dad, Brian to “Father & Daughter” by Paul Simon followed by Michael's dance with his mom, Jill to “You’ll be in My Heart” by Phil Collins.


We opened up the reception dancing to a packed dance floor with “Shout” by Otis Day and the Knights, and guests danced all night from beginning to end. Some of the big musical highlights included, Dixieland Delight by Alabama, and Family Tradition by Hank Williams Jr. which had everyone on the dance floor cheering and singing! Another big request was a dedication to Taylor from all her Catawba classmates getting down to “Downtown” by Macklemore!

We closed the night out with “Piano Man” by Billy Joel, and the crowd kept chanting for another song, so we played “Dixieland Delight” one more time! What a fun night, and a great group to play for.
