Brittany & Jason’s Elegant Poplar Hall Wedding in Appleton, WI

An Unforgettable Spring Celebration Full of Love, Laughter, and Non-Stop Dancing

Ceremony at Poplar Hall: Classic Elegance with a Personal Touch


At 3:30 PM, guests arrived to the serene sounds of a live string quartet, setting the tone for a timeless ceremony. The music paused just before the processional, where:

  • Bridesmaids walked to: Canon in D
  • Brittany's entrance: Canon in D
    Recessional:     (Live upbeat string version)


The ceremony featured a beautifully arranged processional lineup, including flower girls Aubrey, Brinley, and Cora, before Brittany made her stunning entrance to marry Jason.


Officiated by family friend Tim Schlais, the ceremony was heartfelt and graceful—avoiding awkward family pairings while remaining deeply meaningful to all present.


Reception: A High-Energy Celebration

Cocktail Hour & Grand Entrance

The string quartet wrapped with lively tunes for cocktail hour, then guests were called to dinner from the top of Poplar Hall’s gorgeous staircase.  At 5:55 PM, the wedding party made a fun group entrance:

  • Bridesmaids: Can’t Stop the Feeling – Justin Timberlake
  • Groomsmen: Pink Pony Club- Chappell Roan
  • Brittany & Jason: I Gotta Feeling – Black Eyed Peas


Dinner & Toasts

Dinner was an elegant plated meal served by Michiels Catering, following a warm blessing by Tim Schlais. Heartfelt toasts from the Maid of Honor (Colette), Best Man (Spencer), and both mothers, Betty and Vicky.


Dancing the Night Away

Once the cupcakes and table photos wrapped up, it was time for the dances that melted everyone’s hearts included a custom edited voice-over for Brittany's song with her dad, and Jason's song with his mom:

  • First Dance: Next Thing You Know – Jordan Davis
  • Father/Daughter Dance: Cinderella – Steven Curtis Chapman
  • Mother/Son Dance: I Hope You Dance – Lee Ann Womack

Then the real party started—and it didn’t stop!


Guests of all ages were up dancing, especially Brittany’s family, who clearly know how to light up a dance floor. A special anniversary dance and a round of late-night snacks at 9:00 PM kept the energy high until the last song played at 11:00 PM.
