War Memorial Milwaukee Celebration for Max & Mel

Guests Engaged All Night at Max + Mels Celebration with Sound Sensations

Max & Mel were married on September 29th, and had their wedding celebration at The War Memorial in Milwaukee , with fun Milwaukee DJs, Sound Sensations Entertainment. Cocktail hour started at about 5:15 pm on the 3rd floor ballroom at The War Memorial, where we played an eclectic mix of some of Max & Mel's favorite oldies songs from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. There were no tables on the dance floor which made it easier to transition, but even better guests danced all through cocktail hour, and through the food station services, and then packed the dance floor all night long. With guests dancing through heavy appetizers, I knew this reception was going to be special.

Food stations were strategically placed throughout the perimeter of the room, which allowed guests to enjoy so many different types of foods.
It was amazing! About 7pm, we jumped into the reception dancing in reverse order to build energy. We started with Mel's dance with her dad, to "My Girl" by the Temptations, followed by Max's song with his mom to "In My Life" by The Beatles. After each of these feature dances, other dads and daughters, and mothers and sons were invited out the dance floor to dance. So special! Then it was onto Max and Mel's first dance, "Brandy, Your A Fine Girl" by Looking Glass.

Open dancing with a packed dance floor continued throughout the night! What a celebration!
