Booking & Planning Questions
Q: How far in advance should we book you?
As soon as you know your date. Our calendar fills fast—especially at preferred venues like Poplar Creek Barn and The Gibson Social Club.
Q: What’s included when we book you?
Every package comes with a pro DJ, custom planning support, a full sound setup, lighting, and access to our planning portal. No surprises.
Q: Can we meet before we book?
Yes! We offer free consults so you can get to know us, ask questions, and make sure the vibe is right.
Q: Do you help with ceremony sound?
Absolutely—even at remote locations. We use battery-powered setups (like the Jackery 500) so you never have to stress about power cords or generators.
Music & Playlist Questions
Q: Can we pick our own songs?
Of course! You can send us a Spotify or Apple Music playlist, or just drop song requests in the portal. We’ll help shape the night around your style.
Q: Do you take requests at the wedding?
We do—unless you tell us not to. If a guest’s request fits your vibe and crowd, we’ll go for it. If not, we’ll politely keep the energy on track.
Q: Can we give you a "do not play" list?
Please do! Whether it’s a genre, artist, or one specific song—this is your day. We respect your boundaries 100%.
Q: Can you edit songs for us?
Yes! We can trim songs for your first dance, make custom mashups, or fade in/fade out for the perfect moment.
Day-Of & Experience Questions
Q: What if something goes wrong?
We plan for everything—extra gear, backups, batteries, and seasoned pros. You won’t even know there
was a hiccup.
Q: Will you make announcements or MC?
Yes—we guide the flow of the event, make clear announcements, and keep everything smooth and professional (never cheesy).
Q: What should we expect on wedding day?
We’ll show up early, coordinate with your other vendors, and handle everything sound-related so you don’t have to think twice.
Q: What happens if our timeline changes last minute?
We’re flexible. We build breathing room into every plan and adjust in real-time to keep everything running smoothly.
Relationship & Support Questions
Q: How will we stay in touch?
We reach out at key points (monthly via email with checklists and fun, engaging ideas, and then your DJ will reach out at 60 days to set up a collaboration meeting with you to discuss all of the details, then a recap phone call as well) and are always just an email, portal message, or text away.
Q: Will we meet our DJ before the wedding?
Yes! We do a
handoff meeting or intro call with your assigned DJ, so you’re comfortable and confident before your big day.
Q: We’re overwhelmed—can you help?
Yes. Always. Whether you’re behind on the playlist or unsure what vibe you want, we’ll talk it through and get you feeling good again.
